Safari Overview
This 7-day safari in Tanzania starts with arrival in Moshi for acclimatization. You will have a visit to the local markets. Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park and have game drives to view elephants, lions, and giraffes; retire for overnight rest within the park. Spend days 3-5 at the Lobo area within Serengeti National Park and enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, during which you are likely to see lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeest. Optional activities include a balloon or walking safari. Day 5: Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight. Day 6: Half-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, with a good view of wildlife like elephants and rhinos; return to Moshi overnight. Day 7: Departure to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Moshi.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Take some time to rest and acclimatize to the local surroundings Explore the nearby markets and enjoy the cuisine.
Day 2: After breakfast depart from Moshi and drive to Tarangire national park.
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Arrive at the park and embark on a game drive to spot wildlife, including the larger variety of habitats. Enjoy the picnic lunch in the park and continue exploring the unique ecosystem of the park in the afternoon. In the evening, check in at your lodge or campsite for an overnight stay.
Day 3-5: After breakfast, drive to Serengeti national park specifically lobo area.
Arrive at your campsite or lodge and settle in before going on an afternoon game drive Spend the next two days exploring the vast plain of Serengeti, known for its incredible wildlife and the great wildebeest migration Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives witnessing the diverse wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and more. Take the option of a balloon safari or guided walking safari to experience the Serengeti from a different perspective. Each evening, return to your accommodation for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Day 5: In the late afternoon, depart from Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area for a lodge or campsite near the crater for an overnight stay.
Day 6: After breakfast drive to the crater rim and descend into the ngorongoro crater for a half day Game drive.
Marvel at the incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and various bird species.
Enjoy the picnic lunch in the crater and continue exploring the unique ecosystem. In the late afternoon drive back to Moshi for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Derparture
After breakfast depart from Moshi to Kilimanjaro international airport for a flight back home
